Noam is a PhD student at the Political-Science Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a fellow of the 'Advanced Graduate Studies Program' (AGSP) ("Telem").
Noam earned his BA in political science and International relations and MA in political science with honors at the Hebrew University. His PhD. addresses the puzzle: how residents in mixed cities actively promote their local interest? Parallel to writing his Ph.D. Noam works as a research coordinator for an EU peace-building initiative in Jerusalem and as the academic coordinator of the Social Science Faculty Internship Program. Noam also serves, voluntarily, as a directorate member of Kibbutz Kfar-Ruppin, where he lives. Recent to his advance studies he worked at the local government "Kfar Tavor" as an education manager and practiced as an intern at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) and at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before starting his BA Noam served five years at the IDF as an infantry officer (Major in res.).
His main research interests include leadership studies - community leadership in particular, narrative analysis, divided societies and mixed cities, public administration and institutional theory.
